Thierry Henry delivers instant reaction after Arsenal thrash Sheffield United tonight
The Arsenal icon says he’s “really happy” with how the Gunners are playing at present, saying they are looking truly “outstanding”.
Henry was speaking on Sky Sports after Arsenal ran out 6-0 winners at Bramall Lane against a team now surely destined for relegation.
The Gunners were three goals to the good by the quarter-hour mark and led 5-0 at the break, going on to add a sixth by the hour mark in South Yorkshire.
Better still, Arsenal had five different scorers on the night, showing how the Gunners are fashioning goals from all areas of the pitch rather than relying on one or two individuals.

Martin Odegaard opened the scoring in the fifth minute before Jayden Bogle scored an own goal on 13 minutes and Gabriel Martinelli added a third on the quarter-hour mark.
Kai Havertz made it 4-0 in the 25th minute, Declan Rice added a fifth on 39 minutes, and Ben White wrapped up the scoring just before the hour mark.
Arsenal have been in outstanding form since their winter break. After returning from Dubai, the Gunners have won their last seven Premier League games in a row, some by comprehensive scorelines.
Thierry Henry ‘really happy’ with how Arsenal are playing
Henry is buzzing about how well Arsenal are doing, highlighting some of the great things they did on the night against the Blades.
However, the Highbury icon also added a few words of caution, saying the key thing is for the Gunners to lift a trophy come the end of the season.
Henry, speaking after the game, told Sky Sports: “They did not concede, different scorers, they kept on playing the way Mikel wants to play at the minute, they took Saka off the field.
“But it is important to do this type of thing and this is why at times when you lead well in any Premier League game, make sure you rest.”
Henry went on to add: “The way we are playing at the minute is outstanding, but if I do not see you with the trophy in your hand at the end, then I cannot celebrate too much. But I am really happy…”
Up next for Arsenal is a Premier League home meeting with Brentford on Saturday in a 5:30pm kickoff.
