Real Madrid president promised two player signings to Kylian Mbappe – report
The coming summer for Real Madrid has all the potential to go down as one of the club’s greatest in history. After all, it marks the fruition of Florentino Perez’s efforts to realise his one goal – bringing Kylian Mbappe to Madrid.
The French phenom is all set to sign for Los Blancos as a free agent this summer. He has communicated his desire to leave PSG to the French administration and is in talks with the Merengues’ over the final details of his contract.
Promised two signings
As revealed by Defensa Central, Florentino Perez was instrumental in bringing Mbappe to Santiago Bernabeu.
The club president promised the forward a winning project in every way.
In order to ensure the same, he also promised Mbappe that two other heavyweights would join him at Real Madrid next season – Leny Yoro and Alphonso Davies.
“They will come after your presentation,” Perez told Mbappe and his entourage.
Needless to say, the French star was impressed by the names Real Madrid were eyeing and the competitive project they have in mind for the long term.

The latest update
The race for Yoro sees Real Madrid go head-to-head with the likes of Chelsea and PSG, but as revealed earlier this week, they are in the driver’s seat.
Yoro only wishes to sign for the Galacticos and is said to be holding off renewal talks to push for an exit. The only bottleneck, as it stands, is Lille’s high-asking price.
Real Madrid’s position to sign Davies is more clear, yet far from complete.
The player is said to have an agreement in place with Carlo Ancelotti’s side, but Bayern Munich have not made it easy with their repeated renewal offers.
As per the latest update, the Bavarians have set the deadline for Davies to make his final decision as April and negotiations are thus slated to begin soon.
The talks will start at around €50 million as the transfer fee, though Perez will be eager to bring that value down.
