Foresight is the hallmark of great football administration, and Real Madrid undoubtedly boasts of the same.
Los Blancos have always remained two steps ahead of the crowd, planning their long-term future with impeccable detail.
It is, after all, for that reason that the club did not feel the void after the departures of Marcelo, Casemiro, Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos in recent years.
Planning for 2024-25
Looking ahead to the upcoming summer transfer window, Florentino Perez & co. are already clear on the names they hope to incorporate.
Madrid Universal understands that three players have been shortlisted for June, two of whom are widely known and discussed – Kylian Mbappe and Alphonso Davies.
The third player Los Blancos see for the summer is Franco Mastantuono, Argentina’s 16-year-old gem who has taken large strides in recent times.

The signings of Mbappe and Davies are well on track, with the Merengues having an agreement in place with both players.
The winger will arrive on a free transfer, but the Canadian star’s signing is dependent on the negotiations with Bayern Munich.
Operation South America
Having already signed Brazil’s crown-jewel talent Endrick, Real Madrid now have their eyes on the Argentine market. Mastantuono, who currently plays for River Plate, and is widely regarded as the next big thing for his nation at just 16 years of age.
Despite his age, the player can directly join Real Madrid next summer as he reportedly possesses a European passport. The club only need to meet his release clause of €45 million, and that appears likely given Perez’s priority list.
The only question that remains is whether Los Blancos will also go all out for a young centre-back like Leny Yoro.
The coming weeks will be critical in deciding the same, but the arrivals of Mbappe and Davies appear to be on track while serious efforts will likely be made for Mastantuono’s signing as well.
