The New York Jets are in the thick of the 2025 NFL offseason now.
Recent events of the past few weeks have stirred up an excitement for the future. The team hired Aaron Glenn as their next head coach and general manager duties have been handed to Darren Mougey.
That duo have plenty of decisions to make in the coming months. Most are first looking to the future of quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the NFL draft is always the top spring occasion in all of football.
But prior to that, free agency is going to play a big part. Glenn and Mougey must decide what they’re going to do with veterans who are on expiring contracts. The NFL’s free agency period is set to take place in March ahead of April’s draft.
