The Georgia Bulldogs have yet to schedule an official visit with a Fairburn, Ga., four-star running back. But the running back still has the Bulldogs in his top five.
On3’s Jeremy Johnson reported four-star running back Carsyn Baker released his top five schools on April 3. The Bulldogs were in Baker’s top five, along with the Clemson Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, South Carolina Gamecocks and Florida State Seminoles.
Baker has official visits scheduled with Clemson, Ohio State and Texas A&M for May and June. Johnson wrote that On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine labels Clemson the favorite.
But that doesn’t mean the Bulldogs are out of the running.
The Bulldogs are still involved because of several unofficial visits Baker has taken to Athens, Ga.
“Georgia continues to play a role in Baker’s recruitment despite not having an official visit locked in. In fact, Baker will be back in Athens on Saturday for an unofficial visit,” wrote Johnson.
“He also has been on campus three times already this year. Georgia’s culture keeps Baker coming back.”
Baker explained to Johnson why he has visited the Bulldogs multiple times.
“It’s just the brotherhood and the way coach [Josh] Crawford and coach Smart have been recruiting me [that keep them in it],” said Baker.
The 247 Sports composite rankings has Baker rated as the No. 14 running back in the 2026 recruiting class. The same ratings also have Baker ranked as the No. 23 Georgia prospect and No. 175 overall recruit in the class.
