The summer transfer window may be a sizeable two months away, but Real Madrid have a clear-cut plan to navigate through the busy month already.
Two of Los Blancos’ new signings, after all, are already confirmed in Kylian Mbappe and Alphonso Davies.
The former has already signed his deal with Real Madrid if reports are to be believed while the latter is now very close to completing his move. Only the agreement with Bayern Munich remains in his case.
The third signing
According to journalist Ramon Alvarez de Mon (h/t Defensa Central), Real Madrid’s third new signing of the season will be the young French talent Leny Yoro.
The journalist states that the 18-year-old centre-back’s signing is getting closer and closer.
The Lille defender has been on the club’s radar for a long time now and is considered to be one of world football’s brightest young talents. At just 18 years of age, he has already started 26 of Lille’s 28 games in Ligue 1 and has overseen 13 clean sheets.

With David Alaba, Nacho Fernandez and Antonio Rudiger all on the wrong side of 30, he is seen as the team’s long-term bet in central defence alongside Eder Militao, who recently returned from an ACL injury.
Yoro’s current contract with Lille runs out in 2025, making him an attractive target for Florentino Perez.
However, his favourable contractual situation has not escaped the attention of other top European sides. PSG, Chelsea and others are interested in the youngster’s signing, giving Real Madrid tough competition.
The player is firm on a move to the Bernabeu, but the only obstacle to his signing is the astronomical fee that Lille demand for a player with just over a year left on his contract.
