About the Role
As a Distribution Delivery Assistant, you will support the company’s transportation and logistics operations by coordinating shipments, maintaining records, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring efficient delivery processes.
You will work closely with logistics teams, suppliers, and third-party providers to ensure that deliveries are completed smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Scheduling and monitoring deliveries using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Supporting shipping and receiving operations.
- Coordinating with third-party logistics providers (3PL).
- Maintaining accurate shipment and inventory records.
- Entering logistics data into systems such as AS400 and SyteLine.
- Monitoring inventory levels and order statuses.
- Analysing logistics data and preparing reports.
- Communicating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Assisting with administrative and reporting duties.
- Supporting delivery operations whenever required.
- Ensuring all transportation activities are properly documented.
