About the Role

The Administrator will provide essential administrative support to senior managers and team members within the Chief People Office (CPO).

The successful candidate will help coordinate office operations, manage correspondence, support procurement activities, and ensure important information is available for meetings, projects, and daily business activities.

This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Providing administrative support to managers and team members.
  • Coordinating the daily running of the office.
  • Managing emails and communicating with internal departments.
  • Raising purchase orders and processing invoices.
  • Supporting procurement and budget activities.
  • Managing HR administration inboxes and responding to enquiries.
  • Assisting with Employee Relations activities.
  • Coordinating Long Service Awards across TfL and London Underground.
  • Supporting health and safety compliance activities.
  • Maintaining records relating to Display Screen Equipment (DSE), first aiders, and fire wardens.
  • Organising workshops, meetings, and events.
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Working Pattern

This position operates under a hybrid working arrangement.

Employees are expected to work:

  • Approximately 50% of their time in the office over a four-week period.
  • A minimum of 3–4 days per week in the office, depending on business requirements.
