About the Role
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, helping them with daily tasks, personal care, and emotional wellbeing. No two days will be the same, and the role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the people you support.

Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Providing person-centred care based on each client’s needs and care plan.
- Assisting with personal care such as washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Supporting mobility and transfers while encouraging independence.
- Administering or assisting with medication in line with company procedures and training.
- Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking where necessary.
- Offering companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and isolation.
- Helping with light household duties such as cleaning and laundry.
- Supporting clients with shopping, appointments, and community activities.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ physical or mental wellbeing.
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation.
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, and company policies.
Requirements

Essential Requirements
- A caring, compassionate, and patient attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- The right to work in the UK or eligibility for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
- English language proficiency.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience in domiciliary care, home care, healthcare, or support work.
- Experience supporting people living with dementia or complex care needs.
- A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
- Medication administration training.
- First Aid certification.
